With sneakerheads noticing similarities between the Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze and Travis Scott’s unreleased Air Jordan 4 Olive, the excitement for the sneakers began to build. Although the Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze has been compared to such a hyped sneaker, it has its own characteristics that make it stand out.
A subtle colorway of Tinker Hatfield’s 1989 Air Jordan 4, the ‘Taupe Haze’ sports an understated design. The upper is constructed from textured suede with cracked leather on the collar, tongue and mudguard, giving it a dark taupe finish. Black hits are applied to the laces, plastic wings, and heel tab, the latter of which features an embossed Jumpman logo. A second Jumpman icon is rendered on the tongue tag in an infrared color, matching the tongue’s interior lining. A two-tone PU midsole provides lightweight cushioning with visible Air units at the heel and encapsulated Air at the forefoot.
